The arts are a powerful tool for self-expression that leads to confidence and the courage to try new things. At Artists Creating Together, we embrace the bold, messy, and fearless nature of creativity. Let’s raise our voices, leave it all on the dance floor, and proudly show our artistic side! Let’s join together and continue to learn, grow and celebrate through the arts! Join us on October 2, 2025 at the Goei Center for the “Art is Us” Auction.

Honoring the Junior League

This year’s Art is Us Auction is especially meaningful as we honor the Junior League of Grand Rapids in celebration of their 100th anniversary. ACT would not exist without the vision and dedication of the Junior League, who brought our organization, originally VSA Arts of Grand Rapids,to life in 1986.

Recognizing a lack of arts education opportunities for students with disabilities, the Junior League partnered with community leaders to establish ACT and committed three years of funding and volunteer support, including an annual art festival for special education students.

We are deeply grateful for their legacy and proud to celebrate their century of impact with our community!
