About Student Internships
Internships with ACT offer a chance to gain real-world experience in your area of study or interest. Areas of student interests include art therapy, art education, event planning, fund development, graphic design, non-profit admin, special education, social media, and more. We work closely with colleges and universities in the Greater Grand Rapids area and beyond. Internships typically run January-April, May-August, and September-December.
Requirements:
Interns must be a college student or recent graduate. If the internship involves working with children or in a hospital setting, the intern must successfully pass a background check and medical tests (i.e. TB test), receive a flu shot, and other possible requirements before beginning programming placements.
Internships are unpaid; work study opportunities available if eligible. All internships may be completed for credit if desired.
