ACT volunteers work with students
How Can I Help?

There are plenty of ways to aid the disability arts community. Whether through teaching, volunteer work, partnerships, or sharing ACT's story, find out how you can lend a hand.

Over 20 million families in the United States are impacted by disabilities—that’s nearly one third of our population.

Chances are, your life has been touched by someone who could benefit from ACT programs. Be an ambassador of our work and talk to people in the community about what we do.

Share and connect with ACT on social media!

Volunteers are vital to our programming. They staff events, help with classes, and build meaningful relationships with our students.

Our professional Teaching Artists work with a variety of media and art forms, and we couldn't offer our classes without them. Special education teaching experience isn't necessarily required, as long as they have a passion for our mission and a love for the arts.

If you or someone you know is a working artist with a passion for service, let us know!

Join our community! There are many ways to become an ACT donor — commissioned art pieces, special event support, in-kind donations of supplies, and monetary gifts are just a few options.
