ACTion Drumming


June 1 - August 3

ACTion Drummers in action!

Join ACT's drum troupe and learn more about technique and collaborative performance. This exciting summer session includes a number of community performances! Drums provided and no prior experience needed.

Art of Gardening


May 26 - September 1

ACT students work diligently in ACT's rooftop garden

In this 14 week class, students will learn to plant, grow, and harvest their own produce at ACT's new rooftop garden! This class also includes visual art projects to beautify the space, culinary art lessons in which students will use what they’ve grown to assemble a seasonal recipe, as well as a site visit to Cellar Door Preserves on August 25. On September 1, students are invited to celebrate the season at our annual Harvest Dinner, from 5:15-6:15pm at the ACT studio.​

Art of Flamenco Dance


June 12 - August 14

ACT students learning Flamenco dance!

Learn the fundamentals of Flamenco, the expressive Spanish dance known the world over! This class will take place at Armentality Movement Arts Center, where students will learn basic steps and choreography from teaching artist, Laura Armenta. No previous dance experience needed.

We are opening the doors to the ACT studio and welcoming one and all to join us for interactive arts, music, and more. Whether you are new to ACT or have been with us for many years, we invite you, your family, and friends to drop in anytime between 4 and 7 PM!

Summer Art Retreat

July 13 - July 15

ACT Summer Art Retreat

Travel the gardens and see patterns, colors, and textures. Explore sculptures, pathways, and bridges to study lines, shapes, and light. Listen to music and stories that will ignite your imagination. Be inspired by all you see, taste, touch, and hear to create incredible art on your own and as a group. Students should bring a water bottle, sack lunch, and sunblock, and should wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Music Lessons

45-minute sessions

An ACT teaching artist will meet you at your home as you hone your guitar, ukulele, piano, or drum skills. Sessions are 45 minutes and are scheduled to fit your needs. Students must have their own instruments.

Join us in Artists Creating Together studio to explore art and creativity inspired by artists from around the world! Open Studio welcomes those with disabilities, their friends, siblings, and peers of all abilities! Feel free to visit our Open Studio page to learn more!
